1. Introduction
Disgracefully, Pedophile-Panic Derangement Syndrome is becoming more and more widespread among American journalists, especially ones on YouTube, as time moves on. I stumbled across a YouTube video titled "When Child Predators Are BUSTED On Camera" one day. However, instead of all the stories it tells its viewing audience being about child predators, a couple of the stories were nothing more than pieces of pedophile-panic propaganda.
Self-proclaimed child advocates, self-appointed psychiatrists, and the likes will insist that there is no difference between a 15-year-old girl and an 8-year-old girl. Well, actually there is.
There are 15-year-old girls that are very sexually active and consider sex to be a regular recreation for them insofar as the sex partners they choose are not necessarily their peers. Eight-year-old girls, on the other hand, are not looking to get laid. Therefore, the American sex laws pertaining to teenage minors should be different from the ones pertaining to prepubescent children. However, they usually aren't.
2. Sensationalism On Camera At Its Worst
Instead of educating the public at large here in the United States about the dangers of child predation, the above-described YouTube video sets out to run what mostly can be described as a teenage-pregnancy-prevention campaign. Not to say that something like that is a completely bad thing. However, there is a world of a difference between a teenage-pregnancy-prevention campaign and an actual video that raises public awareness about child predation. Watch the video below to get what I mean.
The YouTube Channel Named "Courthouse" Doesn't Differentiate Between Teenage Sex And Child Molestation

What I'm going to do here is respond to each story that the above video describes and break down the facts about each one. In my school of thought, a 29-year-old man who has sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl is not necessarily any more of a sexual predator than a 16-year-old boy who does the same thing with a girl that age.
Ryan Burton
I have a strong belief that whenever someone deviates from the definition of pedophilia that appears in the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders ("DSM-5") and takes writer's license with it, then pedophilia goes from being an actual paraphilia or psychiatric disorder to being nothing more than a bogus conspiracy theory. In the case of 29-year-old Ryan Burton, that is exactly what the narrating journalist in the video above does.
The narrating journalist in the video above can't even spell the word "pedophile" right. He spells it as "pedofile" instead of as "pedophile" in his subtitles. The double-digit illiteracy rate here in the United States could explain why so many idiots in our nation can't even get the definition of pedophilia right.
If anyone accuses Mr. Burton of being a pedophile merely because he has a non-Platonic interest in what he believes to be a 15-year-old girl, then as a society we all would have to start accusing 15- and 16-year-old deadbeat fathers of being pedophiles for getting girls that age and younger pregnant. Of course, all the social-justice warriors would make accusations of political incorrectness in that event in light of the fact that the DSM-5 excludes 15-year-old boys from being pedophiles and would exclude 16-year-old boys from being one for having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
All right. I can appreciate that same argument. However, because the DSM-5 specifies that adults are only pedophiles if they are primarily or exclusively attracted to prepubescent children in a sexual manner, then the narrating journalist has no right to accuse Mr. Burton of being a pedophile regardless of whether his sexual pursuits are legal or illegal.
Some of you may ask, "What if he had planned on forcibly raping this 15-year-old girl he thought he was seeing?" That intention of his would still not make him a pedophile. Please note that no matter how violent and/or heinous a 15-year-old boy's sex crime is against a 15-year-old girl, the authorities and others involved in his apprehension and exposure will never brand him as a pedophile. Therefore, the rule of thumb should be no different for a 29-year-old man.
What is so outrageous about this online sex-sting operation is that there are so many underage boys physically, emotionally, and sexually abusing 15-year-old girls that our law-enforcement officials should not be wasting their time on a 29-year-old man trying to hook up with a 15-year-old girl that doesn't even exist. It sends the message that adult men are to blame for all of teenage girls' problems, and fact has it that it is mostly underage boys that are victimizing girls this young.
Chris Hansen can go fly a kite for all I care. He's nothing more than a rabblerousing TV personality that wishes to rile up the American people with misinformation regarding non-Platonic relationships between teenage girls and adult men. As far as I know, he has never done a news story about underage boys raping middle-school and high-school girls.
Not too long ago, there was a situation in which a 16-year-old boy threatened to kill his 15-year-old girlfriend with a knife if she didn't have his baby. After the authorities caught him in his crimes, the judge in his criminal trial merely sentenced him to time in a juvenile detention facility that was more like a summer camp full of recreational activities such as swimming, tennis, and the likes.
Was Chris Hansen anywhere to be found when that story broke? Of course not. He doesn't care about underage boys who commit reprehensible crimes against teenage girls. He's more interested in tabloid media.
Like Chris Hansen, the narrating journalist in the video above is promoting what can be best described as fake pedophilia. Further on in the video, he even puts words into Mr. Burton's mouth in that he claims that Mr. Burton identified himself as a pedophile in his journal. The word that Mr. Burton had used in his journal was "predator." Probably he did so, because his shady psychotherapist had him on psychotropic drugs.
Law-enforcement officials are wasting precious tax dollars on these witch hunts rather than trying to stop real crimes. Mr. Burton is not really a child predator, because medical science does not define a 15-year-old girl as a child but as a young woman.
A friend of mine in college named Bobby once told me that his mother was 15 years old and his father was 22 years old back when his parents got married. I never met Bobby's father, but I can be rest assured that he wasn't a pedophile. Mr. Burton should sue the "Courthouse" channel on YouTube for slandering him on camera.
Now, quite a few of you are probably going to cry out that Mr. Burton still got arrested in an online sex-sting operation, so that must make him guilty as sin. Wrong! Many of these online sex-sting operations reek with entrapment and are set up by dirty cops. Watch Norman Michael Achin's video below regarding this subject matter.
Norman Michael Achin Gives A History Of The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force's Dirty Laundry

In the real world, it's not only teenage boys that find 15-year-old girls to be attractive. Adult men of all ages do so, and it doesn't make them pedophiles. It may not even make them hebephiles or ephebophiles. I would have to say that most of them are teleiophiles. The word "teleiophile" is the scientific term for someone whose sexuality receives a clean bill of mental health.
Look at Ambree Orgill from the YouTube channel "April & Davey." She's 15 years old, and she has a stunning figure. Not to mention, she's very beautiful. Her facial features are sort of a cross between those of actresses Julia Roberts and Amy Locane during their younger years.
Pedophiles do not gravitate toward teenage girls like Ambree Orgill. They spend most of their time gawking at videos on the Internet of toddlers taking baths. That's why they're called pedophiles. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that much out.
In a video from the YouTube channel "THE WEISS LIFE," Gracelynn Weiss has a conversation with her mother, Melissa Weiss, about breast-reduction surgery that she wants so much. Gracelynn and her mother remind their viewing audience that they first had this same conversation about breast-reduction surgery back when Gracelynn was only 15 years old two years ago.
Pedophiles are not going to take an interest in a 15-year-old girl who has the same bra size as that of the late Loni Anderson or Dolly Parton during their younger years. You can watch the video below to get the full details about Gracelynn.
Gracelynn Weiss Has A Conversation With Her Mother That Proves That She's Not A Little Girl Anymore

The press, the media, and the Internet simply cannot fool those of us who actually have a brain. The Puritanical Establishment will eventually lose its war against reality.
Luckily, Mr. Burton did the smart thing after the police hauled him into the police station in handcuffs and he exercised his Fifth-Amendment rights. He should never have been arrested in the first place.
Timothy Nielsen
Timothy Nielsen was merely a homeless man who acted out in an outlandish way in front of the police inasmuch as he did not wish to spend any more nights sleeping on a sidewalk in the pouring rain. Yes, I completely get it that he began stalking the 12-year-old girl when she was 7 years old. However, he never had any sexual contact with her.
The fact of the matter is that the streets are so horrible for homeless people nowadays that they will even go as far as sexually offending to escape their predicaments. Now that President Donald J. Trump has authorized the use of internment camps to get homeless people off the streets, this problem will likely get worse in that these same people would probably prefer the comfort of a jail-cell bed over the confinement of what may be an insane asylum.
Nonetheless, I would never go as far as accusing Mr. Nielsen of being a child sexual predator. The elephant in the room here is that desperate people do desperate things. He wanted to get locked up, and he was willing to do and say whatever he had to in order to get the police to arrest him.
You'll notice how polite Mr. Nielsen became with the police after they slapped handcuffs on him. He'd now have a place to stay as opposed to the cruel streets. At the end of the day, he doesn't rise to the level of being a child predator despite that he takes the appearance of one.
Is Mr. Nielsen a pedophile? One might suspect so. However, I honestly believe that he is merely someone that the system failed and he ended up with no roof over his head before the police arrested him.
Andrew Hakeem Jewell
Andrew Hakeem Jewell is somewhat of an enigma. Because he supposedly attempted to pull an 8-year-old girl into a bathroom with him to do only God knows what, I don't think it's unfair for anyone to say that he could be a child predator. It is possible that he may have even been diagnosed as a pedophile, but don't hold me to it.
Nevertheless, I contend that Mr. Jewell is really a bully. He does have a history of picking on kids that are smaller than him as they are easier to intimidate than people his own age. You only have to watch videos pertaining to him on the YouTube channel named "The Sanilac Flashlight" to know that he has all the characteristics of a bully. Would you believe that this young man has his own YouTube channel?
A YouTuber named Steven Robert Whitsett did question the professional integrity of the police officer who arrested him, as well as the fairness of his criminal trial. Watch Mr. Whitsett's video below.
Steven Robert Whitsett Doesn't Believe That Andrew Hakeem Jewell's Rights Were Protected

I do respect Mr. Whitsett's opinion on the matter. I also believe that everyone has the right to a fair and speedy trial and that nobody should be convicted of a crime unless their guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
Is Mr. Jewell a child predator? Who can really say? He pled guilty to the criminal charges against him. However, if he had not pled guilty, one never knows whether he would have been convicted or not.
One important point that Mr. Whitsett makes in his video above is that, like so many other defendants in his situation, he accepted a plea bargain of 3 1/2 to 15 years in prison inasmuch as he was afraid of going to trial and risking the possibility that he could receive life in prison with no eligibility of parole.
In his videos, Norman Michael Achin has warned people that many defendants who are charged with sex offenses involving minors may be innocent but still accept a plea bargain to get out of going to prison to serve time until they're either very old or dead. Both Mr. Whitsett and Mr. Achin agree that this prosecutorial practice is not true justice but rather aggressive scare tactics meant to back defendants up into a corner.
Christina Formela
I'm going to admit up front that I generally don't condone schoolteachers having affairs with their underage students. I can understand that parents don't want their kids going to school to have sex with their teachers no matter how old their kids are. It concerns me that teachers can and do pull rank to pressure a student into submitting to them sexually.
At the same time, I understand that the growing violence in public schools could be what is driving young female schoolteachers into the arms of pubescent and adolescent boys. I can also appreciate the argument that there are exceptions to every rule, even ones written in stone.
When I was a senior in high school, I had this one teacher named Mr. Greer who had become involved at the age of 38 with a 15-year-old female student. When she got to be 19 years old, he married her. My best friend at the time highly disapproved of this series of events. However, I was of the school of thought that if they were happy together, let them be.
I don't know all the details about Ms. Formela's relationship with a male student. It is apparent that he was not a prepubescent child at the outset of the affair. Therefore, it is defamatory to accuse her of being a pedophile.
Even though Ms. Formela was charged with sexually assaulting this same student, it could be very well be that she never forced him into anything he didn't want to do. If that is the case, the wording in the criminal charges against her needs to be changed in order to avoid confusion and complications for her further down the line.
If society and the law want to put a stop to these young female teachers having sexual intercourse with their male students, then they need to make these learning institutions safer places for these women to teach. If you have these women relying on boys as young as 12 years old for protection against violent and dangerous students, there are bound to be situations in which these women become emotionally attached to these boys and fall into intimate relationships with them.
More often than not these female schoolteachers' husbands decide to stay with them and stand by them through their criminal trials, because they become aware of what really drove these women into the arms of adolescent boys. That is, it's not a case of conventional marital infidelity but rather fear for one's safety. Journalists are simply not informing the public at large of what really is going on behind the scenes in these situations.
Let's face the reality that it is not 1957 anymore. Many of us weren't even alive yet in 1957, including me. Teenagers who cannot yet legally vote in elections are having sex more frequently than in past decades, and they are becoming less discriminate about the ages of their sex partners than in previous decades.
Is Ms. Formela a child predator? Probably not. I would not even doubt that the criminal charges that piled up against her are trumped-up ones. Is she a pedophile? Assuming that her alleged "victim" was not a prepubescent child, I'd have to say no.
Gary Thomas
If the court system can prove that Gary Thomas is guilty of the criminal charges against him, I will not defend this man. It then means that he did commit incest and child molestation against his own sister from the time she was 5 years old. He then should receive no pity parties from anyone.
What really bothers me about Mr. Thomas is that the narrating journalist on the Courthouse channel of YouTube has lumped his case in with that of four other people whose circumstances are diametrically different from his. Two of the other four people are definitely not pedophiles. The other two have bizarre situations that make you question whether the Court of Public Opinion is able to see their cases from a bird's-eye view.
Mr. Thomas is supposed to be a man of God, and he clearly plays by his own rules instead of those of society and the law. It's as though all the money and power of being a church leader have gone to his head. The police certainly didn't take his criminal matter very lightly, to say the least.
Is Mr. Thomas a child predator? If he is proven to be guilty, then there is no way around that fact. Is a pedophile? If a psychiatrist were to give him that diagnosis, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

3. Final Thoughts
Anyone can understand that it is important that a society protects their children. However, it doesn't mean that Americans have to pretend that teenagers are toddlers.
It is bad enough that wackos like Judie Brown of the American Life League believe that embryonic stem cells are little boys and little girls. Charlatans in the field of forensic psychiatry like Dr. Park Elliott Dietz often get dollar signs in their eyes whenever they get the chance to take advantage of the fears and insecurities of Americans regarding teenage sex, especially when it is cross-generational in nature.
It has never been a secret that American journalists have Pedophile-Panic Derangement Syndrome. These people are supposed to be educated, and they can't even get the definition of pedophilia right in accordance with the DSM-5. Accusing an adult of being a pedophile for having a sexual attraction to a teenager is clearly misuse of medical terminology no matter how old the adult is and how young the teenager is.
There is a world of a difference between prepubescent children and adolescents (teenagers), and journalists are obligated to observe that same difference in their roles as professional reporters to the public. Many teenagers are sexually active on their own free will, even with older sex partners, whereas 8-year-old girls (and boys) are not looking to get laid. Let's stop denying reality. Otherwise, fake pedophilia is going to overwhelm us as a society.
